After years of not reading books, I decided to download TikTok and was quickly swept into BookTok. Thus, the book obsession started again. After tons of books and the realization that companies created special additions of my favorites and scouring to collect them like some sort of book-hoarding dragon. I noticed the severe neglect of the monster, paranormal and supernatural romance community. After some research and a change in my degree, I decided I’d found my calling, working hands-on with the things I treasure most books and the people I admire most authors. While also reading as a part of working.

Then the idea of the Forbidden Library was born. After many nights of being on my own, thanks to my husband’s job taking him everywhere but home. I found comfort in the books that made the scary things sexy. I quickly discovered that not only were these books spooky and delicious, but they were laugh-out-loud funny and made me wish for a world where monsters and aliens were so disgusted by the idea of people hurting their precious mates. Swoon.

Forbidden Library seeks to create a community of monster and paranormal lovers who want to support the wonderful minds of authors who write our favorite stories. To welcome new readers and show them to sexy side to the things that go bump in the night.
